    Summary

Obi-Wan stepped closer, close enough that Anakin could see the strain around his eyes, the exhaustion he was too proud to show.

“I had to decide,” he said. “Someone had to stop the bloodshed. You were blinded by him. You couldn’t see what you would have become.”

Anakin flinched, something rawer than anger making his voice tremble. “And what about you? You’re slaughtering in cold blood and dressing it up as balance. Like that makes it righteous. You think I can’t see that?”

Obi-Wan rolled his eyes. “Spare me the Jedi piety, Anakin. You never believed in it before.”

OR: Obi-Wan turns to the dark side instead of Anakin, and Anakin goes to confront him on Mustafar.

    Summary

Anakin laughed again, this time softer, not as genuine. “Wow. You are going to be so disappointed.”

Obi-Wan Kenobi was many things— powerful, ruthless, terrifyingly efficient— but emotional was not one of them.

He often wished otherwise, during those late nights in the tower when work bled into silence and their hands brushed in passing. The times the elusive General of the entire galaxy allowed only Anakin to call him Obi-Wan, the times his voice went unbearably soft when he called his name in return.

But wishful thinking wasn’t reality, and Anakin never asked Obi-Wan what that meant.

And Obi-Wan had never told him.

    Summary

Every now and again, Obi-Wan got to taste a little bit of Anakin's power. Locked in a deep embrace, their bodies coiled tight together, heartbeats matching in rapid pace, Obi-Wan would let Anakin break down his walls and overtake him in their bond. It was then that he felt it as Anakin did - the joy, the ecstasy, the fear, the madness. Swallowed up in Anakin’s desires was like being embraced by a god - all consuming, all encompassing, sweet on the tongue and like fire in the belly.

This is not a pod-race, Anakin, he would probably say. If he had a mouth to say it with, and if he weren’t currently a seal.

or: while struggling to teach Anakin to swim, Obi-Wan decides to draw on a unique element of his heritage for help.

    Summary

    Obi-Wan Kenobi is dead.
    Anakin Skywalker is not.
He walks away from the Jedi Order, from the ashes of everything he was meant to become—and into the arms of vengeance.
But when he finally corners the man who killed Obi-Wan, Rako Hardeen, the prison cell doesn’t contain what he expects.
The voice is wrong. The eyes are wrong.
    The story is wrong.
