    Ye Xiu has a lot of secrets. His real name, for starters, is a secret to most. His face is another secret to many, but both are for a good reason.
    If a certain someone knew his name, saw his face, if he was found, he’d likely be killed, or worse.
    So, he hides and makes a name as a man behind a character.
    But nothing is ever simple and if Ye Xiu has learned anything in his time running, it’s that he’s never safe, and neither is anyone in his vicinity.
    Faced with abuse on all sides, in his desperate attempts to keep himself alive and those he cares about safe; he must do the unthinkable; he must stop hiding.

     

    This story will be mostly canon compliant, but slightly darker, but still with a happy ending.
    Warnings: past and present abuse, implied/referenced abuse, threats of rape/sexual assault and abuse (but only threats), canonical character death, and depression and suicidal thoughts.
