Summary
"What do you know about the dead and the dying?"
Tobio isn't a stranger to the hospital, in fact he's a bit more familiar with it than he'd ever like to admit. Nothing good comes from hospitals, he knows this. He shouldn't make friends with patients, he knows this even more. But there's a stranger with a painful smile and a small jar around his neck, picking at the life he lives out of guilt and piecing it back together without his permission.

Summary
After he finished up his curry, Tobio pulled the KitKat out of his pocket. Somehow, despite his rough handling, it was still intact. Wish for whatever he really wanted? That seemed incredibly selfish. He already had so much. He played volleyball on the international stage, he’d represented his country three times at the Olympics, he had more money than he knew what to do with.
He ran his thumb over the package, flipping it over to tear it open at the seam. Pulling out the light green sticks, he considered wishing for peace on his birthday. It seemed like the easy way out, and he would technically keep his promise to Ito-sama. But just as he was about to snap the candy in half, a thought floated to his mind.
Shoyo. I want to spend my birthday with my best friend again.
He broke the pieces apart.

Summary
Atsumu doesn’t like Kageyama. More accurately, Atsumu likes Kageyama, but he wants Kageyama to hate him. He says it’s his setter’s pride, but Shouyou thinks that Atsumu just wants to see Kageyama snap, for his own satisfaction. “You want to fight… over me?”
Atsumu grinned like a shark at that. “Well, no,” he said, his Kansai accent warmly sinister. “It’s the principle of the thing.”
“Anyway, he has Hoshiumi now,” Shouyou said.
“That can’t possibly be true.”
“And Ushiwaka.”
Atsumu snorted. “More likely,” he said, “but also untrue. It’s not a spiker our Tobio-kun is looking for. ”
“Then what are we talking about?”
“Oh,” Atsumu said, his eyes widening. “You don’t know.”
