Summary

Xie Lian doesn't have the imaginative energy to conjure up anything meaningful for this stranger, so he says, "In that case, you might as well be Wu Ming."
The ghost bows his head further. His shoulders sink slightly, less slumping and more settling into himself. It's like he likes the dehumanizing name.
He says, "'Wu Ming' is perfect."
Xie Lian's frown deepens. He tells him, "Pick a different one soon."

After Xie Lian is tortured in his own temple, he wakes up in the care of a freshly-formed wrath ghost. "Wu Ming" follows him home and, with his carpentry experience, medical knowledge, street smarts, and fighting skills, makes himself indispensable to Xie Lian's family.
To protect Xie Lian from Bai Wuxiang, Wu Ming swears that he'll do whatever he must to get stronger, all the while becoming one more person that Xie Lian couldn't bear to lose.

Summary
When Xie Lian is banished for the second time, Jun Wu doesn't allow him to linger in the mortal realm. Instead, he forces him back to the heavens to be his personal rut slave. After spending a few torturous centuries in the Heavenly Capital, Xie Lian discovers he's with a child. Blinded with disgust and anger, he decides to channel the fetus' spiritual powers and jump down to the mortal realm to terminate the pregnancy and make sure the spirit is properly dispersed.
Upon finding out that his beloved has finally reappeared in the mortal realm, Hua Cheng is overjoyed. But what will happen when he finds out that his beloved omega god has been ruthlessly violated for the past few centuries? Can he right the wrongs Xie Lian has endured?

Summary
Hua Cheng lowers his hand, and both Feng Xin and Mu Qing crash to the floor. Feng Xin winds up with rugburn on his cheekbone and a dislocated shoulder, getting the better end of the deal than Mu Qing, whose nose is gushing blood between his fingers. Payback for earlier, at least—but his satisfaction is short-lived when Xie Lian hiccups a sob on the divan and then breaks into a string of rapid cries so panicked they sound painful. He slaps at the cushions of the divan, terror escalating, eyes wide open.
“Help, help, help, help,” he gasps between cries. “Help me. Help me. Please. Please!”
When a tongueless spirit appears in the south and curses ghosts, gods, and mortals alike with catatonia, Hua Cheng, Mu Qing, and Feng Xin must work together to solve the mystery behind the curse and save Xie Lian from the horrors ravaging his mind.
They may never find a cure, however, if the villagers plagued by the spirit don’t stop lying to them at every turn.

Summary
Xie Lian's last believer is so fervently devoted to him that he seems to think mostly in the form of prayer. That is a terrifying prospect. Xie Lian has never heard of such a case before, not even in hypotheticals, and he finds himself hoping, for his believer's sake, that there is some other explanation for this phenomenon.
Whatever the reason, a low stream of his believer's thoughts hum in the back of Xie Lian's consciousness.
His believer does not seem to be aware of it.

When Xie Lian ascends for the third time, he is welcomed back to godhood with prayers that he hadn't expected: an ongoing stream of thought from his sole remaining believer. He gathers quickly that this believer is very old, very powerful, and very, very much in love with him.
For his believer's sake, Xie Lian can cast a spell to shut the prayers out—but only if he has access to spiritual energy.
