Summary
Tom Riddle knows he's destined for greatness, and he also knows that Harry Potter – his academic rival, the sole individual in this boring school that manages to grind on his every nerve – would be his ruin.
He'd had known it ever since he had lost his temper in fifth year, delivering a crisp slap on Harry's face, and heard the Pureblood moan.
Harry Potter had always found everything dull and boring. From start to finish, it seemed others had already mapped out everything for him, and in all truth, he had no such qualms about rebelling against a preset path - regardless of how cut and dry it seemed. That was the case at least, 'til Tom Riddle in fifth year, jaw tightening and eyes dark, changed everything.
