Aziraphale leaves for Heaven. Crowley stays behind to pick up the pieces of his broken heart.

Crowley tries to burn the colour of Aziraphale’s coat into his mind as if it didn’t already glaze the surface of every thought he’s ever had. Crowley frames the last view he’ll ever get of Aziraphale’s soft, white locks in his memories as if he hasn’t dreamt of touching them anytime he’s ever drifted off to sleep. Crowley watches the slope of Aziraphale’s shoulders because it might be the last time he’ll ever be allowed to see them.
