Summary
Lilac Underwood has had a huge crush on Severus Snape since her fourth year at Hogwarts. Now a sixth year, she happens to find Severus in the library. There, romance blooms.
Excerpt:
"Severus grumbled as he handed over his parchment to her. She spread the parchment between them, leaning over to get a better view. Her perfume embraced his sinuses again. Not only was there lavender but he caught the subtle hints of sweet vanilla. Her scent was tantalizing, intoxicating. How could he focus on anything when Lilac’s very presence left him askew? He cursed his teenage hormones and scooted as far from Lilac as the table allowed.
“You have wonderful handwriting. So neat and smooth, very easy to read,” Lilac cheered.
The compliment was a shock to his psyche, making him as rigid as a statue. Severus looked away, covering his face with his hair in a vain attempt to hide the obvious. He was completely flushed.
“Spare me your insincere flattery,” he muttered, attempting to calm his racing heart."
