Summary
With his life having fallen apart on land, Kiyoomi takes to the solitude of the sea. Lighthouse keeping is a thankless job, but his strict schedule and infinite tasks keep his attention trained on the present instead of the past.
Things become much less straightforward when Miya Atsumu appears on his shore, crass and curious about things Kiyoomi doesn't want dredged to the surface. He has no time to humor him, but like a barnacle to a hull, Miya clings and sticks. And despite all attempts to scrape him off, a begrudging bond eventually forms between them.
