Dongfang Qingcang is asleep, surrounded by the hellfire that has always made him impenetrable and invincible. But instead of being turned outward to subdue an enemy, it envelops him like an embrace; keeping him safe, keeping him trapped. The hellfire continues to burn, using him as kindling. It will consume him when there is nothing left of him to use. Instead of burning bright, this is what Dongfang Qingcang has chosen to use the great power of his primordial spirit for. No one can touch him, no one can wake him, even though they try; a steady stream of spiritual energy to keep someone alive against their will. Dongfang Qingcang’s hands are empty, save for the broken remnants of a bone orchid bracelet. There is a faint smile on his face, as if he is having the most pleasant dream.
