Summary
Part 3 of this series, picking up right where "The Alliance" left off.
The Dauntless returns to Port Royal, and James believes Cutler Beckett is on his way back to England. But then Jack Sparrow arrives in Port Royal with a warning: Beckett is headed their way, and he likely wants revenge against not just Jack, but James, his crew, and Ruby. Beckett begins a reign of terror to the town of Port Royal, including arson and unwarranted arrests, all to try to force James to resign in disgrace. Jack and his crew are determined to help get rid of Beckett (even though their "help" sometimes just adds to the chaos.) Tensions are high. James has to come to terms with the realization that maybe Jack Sparrow isn't the worst person on earth, especially compared with Cutler Beckett. Meanwhile, James and Ruby grow closer, even though the tumultuous events in the town make it difficult to find even a moment together.

Summary
While investigating a smuggling operation, James Norrington is captured by pirates. Jack Sparrow and Ruby (the woman James first met in Tortuga during his last misadventure with Sparrow) aid in his rescue. As they investigate rumors of Governor Swann's capture, they learn the East India Trading Company is behind the operation they set out to dismantle. James and his crew want to ensure the safety of Governor Swann and put an end to the smuggling business. Jack wants to keep his ship out of the wrong hands. The crews of the Dauntless and the Black Pearl join forces with each other and with Ruby to once again to face their common enemy: Cutler Beckett.
Set about a year after the events in Some Sort of Misunderstanding. Reading the first story gives some context, but this one can stand alone.

Summary
James Norrington and his crew find shelter in an empty island village following a battle that left them without a ship. To their dismay, they soon learn the village belongs to none other than Jack Sparrow and his crew. James is able to strike a deal with the pirate captain. Jack agrees to assist James and his crew on one condition: Jack needs help rescuing his first mate from Cutler Beckett. And things are never simple with Jack.
Set in my own Pirates universe that takes place after Curse of the Black Pearl and pretends the sequels never happened.

Summary
Set after Curse of the Black Pearl, but pretty much disregards the events of the sequels. James Norrington and Jack Sparrow are natural adversaries but find themselves with a common enemy: Cutler Beckett. They are helped along the way by a woman named Ruby, a reoccurring original character, also an unlikely ally. After uniting against Beckett, time and time again, the Commodore and the pirate go from reluctant allies to reluctant friends.
