Summary
Molly Hooper's family is in desperate financial need. Sherlock Holmes is desperate to get out from under the financial control of his brother and outwit the terms of his late Grandmother's bequest. When the two meet, it’s obvious that they’re the solutions to one another’s problems - or so Sherlock believes. Molly takes a bit more convincing, but in the end they have a deal: She'll pretend to be his fiancee for the six months dictated by his late Grandmother, and at the end of that term he'll help her find a wealthy husband.
