"In any case, despite a recent apparent shortage of space, a spare bedroom has become newly available to house Godmother’s favorite spiritual leader. He has been worn down to accept her hospitality in spite of every reasonable opposition to the scheme. Somehow, nothing has occurred to prevent this strikingly convenient and exceedingly unlikely series of events which has serendipitously managed to array the dramatis personae in one place in defiance of a global pandemic which should have kept them all apart.
