Vil Schoenheit is getting ready to marry a man who he knows loves him more than any adoring fan that has seen every single one of his films since the beginning of his acting career; He is a man who has gone above and beyond multiple times to prove that Vil is the one and only person he wants to share the rest of his life with, all while promising to gift the entire sky and the solar system beyond it to the blonde if he could in. He is a noble, rich, handsome man who Vil had also fallen for after the others unrelentless persistence to gain the actors attention.
But what happens when, all along, there was another person who had bore witness to the actors beauty and potential way before the blondes fiancé? What happens when the first person to have notice everything that was Vil Schoenheit from their days as children shows up to the wedding, all in hopes of being able to send Vil off despite his remaining feelings for him? What happens when Vil has been aware of the others feelings towards him the entire time and has always felt the same way, but could never find it in himself to admire it until his wedding day?

Summary
[Time passes oddly. Between one second and the next, Sokka has the Fire Lord pinned to the wall with his hands around the bastard’s throat. Golden eyes (one gold eye, his mind whispers) widen in shock.
“Sokka?” he chokes out. And then he smiles.
What the fuck?
“Sokka, I—”
Sokka slams his head against the wall, once, twice, and the smile wipes off his face. Good.
“What,” Sokka bites out, “have you done to my sister?”]

An injury leaves Sokka with amnesia. His last memory is of the failed invasion, of leaving his father behind in enemy territory on the Day of Black Sun. Of hopelessness. Rage.
But then he wakes up, and the war is over. Suddenly, he must come to terms with the fact that years have passed, and that he's somehow the Southern Water Tribe Ambassador to the Fire Nation. He is also supposedly friends with banished-Prince-turned-Fire-Lord Zuko, of all people. Close friends.
