Summary
Forgive Grian for not keeping track of the time. Centuries and seconds all feel the same when it's been so long since anything has happened on the little planet Grian calls home—until a being that calls himself Scar lands. He's too loud, and too bright, and too much of everything.
Unfortunately, Scar is the single most interesting thing Grian has laid eyes upon in a long time.
Forgive Grian for wanting more.

Summary
It is remarkably easy to get bored on Monopoly Mountain.
While Scar is out scamming—ahem, bargaining with the other factions, Grian sits house in the desert, his hands itching for something to do. The cactus walls are done, the pits of lava are dug. All his days are spent supposedly 'standing guard'—which isn't even true, because Grian is sitting half the time! So Grian considers the plots of land around him, his horrid diet of nothing but meat everyday, and does the only thing he can: he starts a garden.
In which Grian becomes a gardener.
