“You’ve built something here,” Jack tells Rose on a planet with an eternal night. She keeps her eyes on the horizon, still waiting for a daybreak that will never come. They are two immortals with a ship full of people who will leave them, by choice or not, and somehow she cannot feel the same dread that she sees in Jack’s eyes, that she saw in the Doctor’s sunken cheeks when he told her that she would wither and die. Summary

He immediately drew the sword back out again and spun around to face whoever had just spoken. He was filled with suspicion. How could anyone know who he was in the ninth century? There was a young woman standing in front of him, even younger looking than Amy. She was dressed in jeans and a pink tee shirt with a sparkly heart on it. Definitely not the kind of clothing that could be found in this time period."
Rose has some time to spare, so why not spend it with Rory to help keep him sane during his very long wait?
