Izuku is not sure how his childhood friend knows he's there; he's actually shocked that the number one pro hero still remembers him, but that doesn't mean he's not absolutely relieved to hear his voice again.

Welcome to the Even Stranger Things fluff & whump fic! This is inspired by Even Stranger Things, but the 31 one shots are not necessarily EST ‘canon’, more of fun oneshots/AU’s/what ifs in a crossover between Harry Potter and Stranger Things. These one shots all exist in the same AU, but each could be read alone and do not follow any timeline, etc.
You do not need to read the fic that inspired these stories to read these… though, why wouldn’t you?

Summary
The wildfire virus does not just infect mankind with zombieism, it changes them. Daryl Dixon finds himself in the program, despite his intense reluctance. He is placed in a matching facility while awaiting being paired with his soul mate. Though lacking romance, those in charge want to expedite the process as the population has been decimated. Except Daryl cannot help but lie and claim on his intake exam that he is straight.
While waiting to be paired he meets Adrian, another beta male who is handsome, muscular, sweet, and cheerful. In a way, Adrian is everything Daryl would have never let himself want and more.
Except all Daryl wants is to mate and run, while Adrian dreams of a great romance. Not that it ought to matter since they are both betas. So why is it when Daryl finally feels something, that it is for Adrian?
Can two betas find a way to be together in this slapdash, undead world?
