What she can make out is a series of “please” and “don’t” and which pleases her the most: “I will come with you so-“. When she hears that one, her chest feels so light that she, made absolutely happy by his promise, beems at Sinclair.
“So please,” he begs. “Let him-“
She pierces the clock anyway, splitting the chamber with all of its content in two. She can’t stop smiling. Sinclair screams.
