Figuring she has no alternative, Mikasa agrees to watch the crate while Hange does whatever Hange does. When she hears noises inside, Mikasa immediately breaks the crate open. What she finds, is A.N.I. An Artificial Nebula Intelligence android. Mikasa names her Annie.
