Alhaitham rolls his eyes. Insufferable.

“You’re only going to make yourself worse like this,” he says, watching Alhaitham down a glass of water and immediately refill it.
“I’m not sick.”
“Uh huh.” Kaveh crosses his arms, eyes narrowing. “Tell me then, has the weekend been so exhausting that you look as if you’re about to collapse just from standing?”
“Every hour spent with you is exhausting,” Alhaitham mumbles around his cup, wincing at the way the words scrape against his throat.
“Rude.”
