    Wolfwood scoffed, reaching over for the bowl of white rice with ease despite Vash clinging onto his back. Adding the rice to the pan, he continued to mix with his chopsticks, breaking up all the clumps until every rice granule was loose and evenly tossed. Vash sighed in contentment. That attention to detail, the practiced motions, hands that were once covered in blood and guilt were now stained with sesame oil and softening calluses. He nuzzled his face into the side of Wolfwood's pristine white shirt, the smell of fresh laundry and spices greeting his senses as he synced his breathing alongside the rise and fall of Wolfwood's chest as he held him close.
