Somehow, in some strange twist of chance or even just a moment of forgetfulness, Ash ends up calling someone else other than his Mother or the Professor, who would have thought that an accidental call to someone would have helped him out somehow?

Steven wasn’t entirely sure what to think about being accidentally called by a child who had just started their journey, let alone the craziness that came with it, but– somehow, for whatever reason, he felt as though it would be wrong of him to just leave the poor kid alone. Besides, it wouldn’t hurt to at least help the kid whenever it’s needed, or even travel with them!
Of course, discovering more stones and minerals would be a great benefit.

Summary
Ash wakes up to have a conversation with the Creator of All, and is thrown back in time to the region of Hisui. All he's given is a strange phone and a mission: Seek out all Pokèmon.
A region much more wary and dangerous than any he had traveled through. A town that doesn't exactly trust him, and 'Alpha Pokèmon' willing to hurt any human trespassing their turf.
Despite all of this, Ash smiles and puts one foot in front of the other, because he's Ash freakin' Ketchum. He never backs down from a challenge, especially not from giving the people what they need. And if there's one thing Hisui needs to realise how wonderful the world of Pokèmon is, it's a champion!
