The feeling wanes in and out of existence, overwhelming on some days, gone entirely on others. More often than not, it remains a small flame nestled inside Childe's chest. Through it all, Zhongli treats him all the same, a quiet comfort in the sea of his confusion, no matter where his self-discovery takes them. He doesn't seem to mind when Childe feels less, and welcomes any and all affection with equally open arms.
