“Damn,” he said, sounding very impressed with himself “really did a number on you, didn't I?”
The smirk in his voice was audible as he admired the blotchy, watercolor assemblage of purples, blues and green across your shoulders. Somehow, this was so much worse than the first time.Bookmarked by Light3rFluid

Summary
Billy Hargrove is the silent, angry coworker you've been trying to avoid for months, unwilling to get yourself tangled in Hawkin's bad boy. But one day, you begin to notice the scars on his body, the random attacks of headaches and violent flashbacks, the way you always had a nagging feeling there was someone else peeking at you from his eyes--you've never been able to resist a mystery.
(I know, I know, the summary is weird, but in other words: Plus-size Reader works with Billy at Family Video and slowly begins befriending him as summer goes on. Billy, struggling with becoming a better person and his memories of the upside down, isn't used to kindness, but once he's had a taste of yours, he can't stay away.)

“You know Clay is watching us.”
“Who’s Clay?” Sapnap commented as though he didn’t have a care in the world. “Never heard of him. Must not be a very good football player if he’s not known.”
I giggled and waved at my friends as Sapnap turned the music up just a little bit, doing a slow circle around the parking lot before stopping by Clay’s group. Clay was gaping. Liv was staring at us in genuine surprise. Techno, still standing by his car, was grinning.
Sapnap gave Clay an unimpressed look, eyeing his car wish disdain. “Is that the 2017 model?” he asked, as though the 2017 model was the worst thing in the world.
“2018,” Clay said through gritted teeth.
“It has a scratch on it,” Sapnap replied easily, and as Clay shot up from the car, he simply used one hand to flick his sunglasses back down to cover his eyes, driving out of the now nearly-empty parking lot.
