Even though you and Tommy were the best of friends, his girlfriend didn't really like you at all. Both you and Kimberly fought like cats and dogs since Kimberly had such animosity and hatred towards, she would belittle you, make fun of you, and call you names and sometimes say really mean and hurtful demeaning things. During the time when Mirabel was supposed to have her 15th, was the day of Antonio's gifting ceremony, but instead all focus was on Antonio making Mirabel feel depressed and hurt that her family had once again forgotten her and pushed her to the back. So, during the ceremony, instead of Mirabel attending the event she stayed in her room avoiding everyone. Antonio had just touched the doorknob to his door when a light shone so bright that everyone had to shield their faces. The light traveled all around until it reached the nursery engulfing the whole nursery and Mirabel. After the light died down Mirabel fell asleep, as the rest of the house celebrated with joy as Antonio received his gift.

It's like no one ever remembered or thought of her once they had given Antonio to her. So, with Mirabel being in charge and guardianship of Antonio, she vowed and promised to love him as if he were Mirabel's own child.

After being sent into the nursery the day of Isabela's proposal dinner, Mirabel felt no more love for her family, well except for a few people, like her sister Luisa, her cousins Antonio, Camilo, and Delores, her Tios Felix, and Bruno and her Tia Pepa. It was a few days before the wedding was to take place, when Mirabel found some items that belonged to her grandfather Pedro Madrigal. She had found pictures of her grandfather and grandmother when her Abuela was 15 and Pedro was 17 and were soon to be parents with Julieta, Pepa, and Bruno. Along with pictures she had found a chest and opened it and found a guitar which she assumed belonged to her grandfather and found a set of real diamond rings that were buried in the guitar case for safe keeping. While looking at the items, her grandmother found out and grew furious and decided she was going to punish her youngest granddaughter the way she sees fit, well except it scarred Mirabel.

Summary
Hey guys, I thought I'd try my hand at writing a Encanto fanfic, since everyone else has. There are some I have read on here and they are out of this world. I want to write a different Encanto fanfic since there are just a couple of quinceanera fanfics of Mirabel's 15th and I thought I'd try. I'm already giving too much away. I finally came up with a title, which is called I see the Light which is sung by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi from in the Disney's film Tangled. I feel like it fits in with this fanfiction, and also Mirabel's dress was inspired by Ariana Grande's wedding dress. It is so beautiful.
