Don’t get her wrong, she liked Wilhelm at first. He made Simon come alive in a way Rosh had never seen before, and she was oddly charmed (ha!) when he cheered her on at her soccer game like any normal boy would if he was hanging out on a pseudo date with Simon. But that was before.
Before the sex tape was leaked. Before Wilhelm denied it was him on live television. Before he told Simon he loved him and then ghosted him,
Rosh liked Wilhelm before he broke Simon's heart.

He'd seen tabloid after tabloid and still quite a few news stories all attempting to figure out what was so special about the boy the prince was dating. They'd managed to dig up any possible publicly posted photo of Simon they could find, including a slightly blurry, definitely taken by someone trying to be sneaky shot of himself and Wille. It was the two of them on the first night they'd hung out outside of school, at Rosh's game. Wille had his head thrown back in laughter while Simon stood next to him, arms touching- and god, had he really been so obvious back then?- as Simon cheerfully shouted something out towards the field. That photo, the only one anyone seemed able to find of the two of them together, circulated around the tabloids more than any other. It was far better than a sex tape.
Even still, Simon couldn't erase the sick feeling in his stomach every time he looked at it, knowing that again their life had been plastered on the internet without permission, that again someone had filmed them without permission.
But that was his life now, wasn't it?
