Summary
“You never curious?” Donghyuck asks. “Like, not at all?”
Mark licks his lips. “About what?”
The question comes out quieter than he means it to, almost shy, which pisses him off more than if he’d stuttered.
Donghyuck doesn’t rush the answer. He looks at Mark like he’s thinking about it, like he wants to make sure he says it right.
“About how good it can be,” he says.
Mark inhales slowly through his nose, holds it, then lets it out.
This is always how it goes. Not just tonight. Not just this game. Ever since the first time they played against each other, there’s been something off about Lee Donghyuck. Something that doesn’t fit neatly into rivalry.(or, Mark and Donghyuck have been rivals for years, and most of their matches aren't really about competition).

Summary
“Mark,” he tried again, softer now. “What the hell are you doing to yourself?”
The silence dragged on, heavy enough to crush the air between them. Haechan waited, he gave him that chance and when nothing came, no excuse, no explanation, not even a lie, his patience snapped.
“The interuniversity competition is in one week. One week, Lee. If you keep disappearing and showing up like this, what do you think people are gonna say? You can’t even keep your own face in one piece, let alone represent our school.”
Mark flinched. That tiny twitch of his shoulders almost made Haechan regret saying it. Almost.
What are you hiding, Mark?
A story about secrets, rivalry, and the messy way hearts stumble toward each other. Between sharp words, stolen glances, and the weight of everything unsaid, Mark and Haechan find that sometimes the line between enemies, teammates, and something more is thinner than they ever thought.

Summary
Not even in Donghyuck's wildest dreams could he have imagined that, at some point in his life, he would run over a cow named Marta and become fascinated with a hot, kind of annoying, farmboy named Mark.

Summary
“So we can just… do anything.”
Donghyuck’s eyes crinkle into tiny, sparkling slits, and Mark decides then and there that it won’t hurt to stay with this boy who knows more about him now than any of the kids back home ever bothered to learn. At worst, it’ll give him someone to hide behind. At best, it’ll give him a friend.
“Anything,” he confirms with his chest puffed out and lips pulled wide, loud enough to echo like he doesn’t know how to make quiet promises. “It’s just a matter of time.”
(As it turns out, he’s right.)

Summary
There’s a new love mark on Donghyuck’s wrist. No one can know about it. Especially not Mark.
Too bad Donghyuck’s about as subtle as an earthquake when it comes to hiding it.
(or: five times Donghyuck’s skin changes color because of Mark and one time Mark’s does)
