“I’m sorry, my love. I wasn’t looking to see where I was going.” She spoke up. She turned so that her back was to the brunette. She batted her eyes and jutted out her bottom lip. “I tried telling him you were just over here getting us food, but he started acting crazy and chased me.” Tears welled in her eyes as if on cue. Then she threw herself into his arms again.

After reaching Laughtale and becoming King of the Pirates, Luffy and his navigator grow closer.
Luffy was being ridiculous, and she was ridiculous to indulge him. He just took it as a personal challenge that she said something was impossible.
“Is it something you want? Screaming baby takes priority over everything. Sleeping, fighting, eating. And it’s not just for a couple of months it’s for life.” She expected that to stop him in his tracks. Whatever silly challenge he had formed her words into would disappear when he realized it imposed on his freedom.
He shrugged. “Never really thought about it. I mean, anything worth doing is hard, isn’t it?”Series
