Summary
Laura Peterson and Alex Levy have been co-hosting The Morning Show for 13 years. One day, Alex is suddenly fired. When it is announced that Bradley Jackson, Fred Mickeln's niece, will replace Alex, Laura swears to make her life a living hell.
Laura finds Bradley to be obnoxious, annoying, incompetent and downright unbearable. She also finds her incredibly beautiful, which only makes her dislike her even more. On the other hand, Bradley finds Laura arrogant, aloof, rude and plain mean. If only she wasn't so damn hot...
After a misunderstanding leads to the public believing they are together, they realize they could be beneficial for each other's image. This leads the two to engage in a fake relationship, though real feelings start to develop.

“When someone looks right into the center of you, it’s hard not to run out of the room. It’s hard to sit there and take it, to let someone see you, especially when you’re pretty sure the center of you is a disaster.” Her tone was calm, yet serious, hard to question. She always sounded like that, even when telling Bradley things that seemed way too far-fetched to be true, in Bradley’s experience at least.
So Bradley scoffed, eyebrow raised in disbelief, trying to hide her discomfort.
