Summary
After the other mother was destroyed by Coraline Jones, Charlie (the other father) took it upon himself to rebuild the delicate frayed fabric of the other worlds reality. Bringing together all the residents of the town and creating a safe place out of what was once an unfolding nightmare.
As Coraline grew up she decided she had to close off any entrance to the other world, making sure to send her kind regards she finally shut the portal for good.
