Summary
The quant village that Sage had made a home out of never looked so bright as it did during winter. Cookies of all flavors would decorate their homes with lights, small ornaments, and snowflakes made of rice paper.
Sage had always had a small space in his heart for this time of year, the twinkling lights and sweet aromas of powdered snow that covered the ground, but what really excited him was the week-long break he got from teaching at the academy. He liked to roam the halls, his heeled boots clicking against the floor, the sound echoing off the walls and making its way back to Sage’s ears.
There were many things to look forward to if you were a cookie in the Cold Season, Sage personally liked sitting on his plush couch with his siblings surrounding him.
That was before the cookies of the village decided to host a Cold Season dance. The cookies around had started calling it ‘Snowcoming’.

There was a moment of silence before Shadow Milk spoke up again. "Do you kiss me stupid in all your dreams?" It was supposed to be a sarcastic remark, a small tease, but it came out like a genuine question.
Pure Vanilla swallowed before he answered, sitting up again. "Yes." He said. Shadow Milk made a squeaking noise, one that was not supposed to escape, but it did somehow.

Shadow Milk, caring for a child that looked like the both of them? And on top of that, they had a Soul Jam looking diamond pendant clipped to his robes at his chest, keeping his hood together, Pure Vanilla met eyes with Shadow Milk. There were no words spoken to the other, just a silent understanding.
