Her name was Laura. She was seven years old. She had followed Remy without a word. She didn’t know him. Remy himself had only learned of her existence less than a month ago, when it all began – when he’d received a message from an unknown number asking for his help.
If he’d known, he wouldn’t have answered.
If he had to do it over again, he would. Without hesitation.
Even though it was completely insane, and he had no idea how he was going to handle what came next.

Elle s’appelait Laura. Elle avait 7 ans. Elle avait suivi Rémy sans protester, sans montrer la moindre réticence ou méfiance. Pourtant, elle ne le connaissait pas. Et lui-même ne connaissait son existence que depuis moins d’un mois, lorsque tout avait commencé, lorsqu’il avait reçu un message d’un numéro inconnu réclamant son aide.
S’il avait su, il n’aurait pas répondu.
Et en même temps, s’il devait recommencer, il recommencerait. Sans hésiter.
Même si c’était complètement dingue et tordu et qu’il n’avait aucune idée de comment il allait gérer la suite.

The point is, there are rules. Good rules. Solid, keep everyone safe rules.She can't touch him. Not the way they both want. And oh does she want. Doesn't mean there isn't a bit of ill-advised wiggle room.

Summary
Life on the Isle hadn't been kind, it had been brutal and cruel and has left them with scars that endure and inner-demons that rear their heads at unsuspecting times. Life in Auradon is better, of course, but kids from the Isle don't take kindly to threats against their friends, or what they perceive to be threats.
Or someone may have overacted and landed them all in Fairy Godmother's office facing expulsion from Auradon Prep.
