Whenever Kirishima looked over at him with his million-lumen smile, shark teeth and all, Katsuki’s heart jumped in his chest. There was a sort of rush inside Katsuki that left him dizzy and ridiculously ecstatic, and it only happened with Kirishima.
Obviously this was a problem.
In which Bakugou Katsuki decides to deal with his romantic feelings for his best friend by talking to a rock. It turns out better than he'd hoped.

Summary
Kirishima's never really considered what Bakugou might be like when he was drunk and he’s curious to find out, albiet a bit apprehensive. This was still Lord Explosion Murder that he was dealing with, after all.
Bakugou stops in the middle of the room, taking in all of the manly posters on the walls, eyeing suspiciously at the punching bag as if he’s never seen one before in his life. He sways, frowns, and squints dangerously. Kirishima tenses in preparation for some snarky comment about his inability to decorate but all that comes out of Bakugou’s slurred mouth is, “This ain't my fuckin' room.”
Wow, okay, maybe he’s a lot more drunk than Kirishima first thought.

Kirishima can't imagine who would be trying to talk to him so late on a school night, but when he opens the door and finds Bakugou Katsuki drunk, he can't just turn him away, right? What kind of a friend would he be if he did that?

He drops like a bullet.
The comms screech. Loud, shrill, and scrambled with interference. But Eijirou doesn’t hear it. Not really. All he hears is the hollow thud of Katsuki’s body hitting the ground over and over and over again like a haunting and the shatter it leaves behind in Eijirou’s ribcage lasts.
“Hey,” Eijirou says, grabbing hold of his shoulders, his face, his back, anywhere he could touch. “Hey, hey, hey, I’ve got you. I’ve got you.”
Or; Katsuki’s heart skips wrong and Eijirou is left watching the strongest person he’s ever known come undone from the passenger seat beside him.

That breath.
Held high in his chest.
He sees it matched in Katsuki’s. In the deep new explorative geography of him. The stretched lines. The shifts in weight. The topography of muscle and bone and everything in between that now blooms outward to cradle something more. Something other. The echo of two heartbeats held beneath one skin.
“You’ve seen what I can do,” Katsuki says, voice just above a whisper. “You think I can’t get one baby out?”
“I know you can,” Eijirou murmurs in return. “That’s the part that’s sort of wrecking me.”
Or; Eijirou would make himself sick if it meant making Katsuki feel better. But Katsuki just wants something sturdy to hold onto
