Manic (and others) relive old memories during rest, getting stuck in a cycle of endless waking up until eventually he finally does. Moving on not wanting to dwell on the weird dreams and perspectives he continues his day with his creator The Author (an actual guy.) Author, an evil and demonic scientist spends his time planning a “fool proof” plan to take over Blüdhaven after failing to, in Gotham City. His plan in the end working but not sending a clear message to the poor people living in Blüdhaven.

Summary
Mob wasn't good at a lot of things, he wasn't good with studying or socializing like his brother, but he was a good kid, But being a good kid doesn't give out points when you fail a very important test, that is why Shigeo Kageyama, nickname 'Mob' is getting sent to class 3-E or how Regain Arataka puts it 'the class for the "mean, weird, gangster children."
Mob has a lot more important things to worry about than gangsters and troublemakers, like
-Trying to make friends
-Dealing with the women who he saved that is now his teacher
-the yellow octopus? guy? who is basically unkillable
-His parents
-Trying not to alert the activity monitoring government about your Esper abilities while trying to assassinate your teacher's monster assistant
-Saving the worldAnd most of all getting his grades up
(Starts after Mob Psycho 100 season one and at the very very beginning of Assassination Classroom)
