I loved Black Sails (until that was ruined with the last part of the final season just like Jason ruined The 100 killing off Lexa) which came to mind reading your story. So I just wanted to thank you for all of your creative efforts by showing you what my vision of what Clarke and Lexa look like in the Water is Wide by placing them in Black Sails with Clarke as Eleanor Guthrie and Lexa as Anne Bonney.
