  Summary

  Summary

  On the run and mortally wounded, Arthur Lester nearly dies (again), but is brought back from the brink yet again by his body companion John. John keeps things from Arthur about what he had experienced in the time he'd been nearly dead. They make it to a cabin where they meet a tall dead-eyed stranger who feeds them and offers them a place for the night.

  We all know that Arthur can't have anything nice for too long though, and within hours shit hits the fan yet again.

  Gordon Freeman is home after his hellish week at Black Mesa where he's having to deal with the aftermath of the incident as well as the revelation that he isn't human, and he never was human. Benrey is also an ever present thought as Gordon blames himself and the security guard.
