Summary
Sonic was being a coward.
She knew that for a fact. Anytime her and Shadow got to have the chance to do anything on the scandalous side, she bolts.
Runs away, makes up an excuse, one time she got Tails to fake call her for an emergency. But she's pretty sure Shadow knows by now that it was fake.
Shadow probably knows by now the common theme.
Anything outside of PG-13 made Sonic scramble away.
She loves Shadow and is grateful for how patient she's been but she knows that she can't keep this up forever. One of these days, Shadow will leave.
Because as much as they can pretend nothing is wrong, there is and it's only delusional to pretend there's nothing.
But Shadow doesn't know why.
Sonic hasn't told her.
Why everytime her hands come a little too low down Sonics thighs she remembers all the things before. The pain and the trauma.
