Summary
“Peter's face was smothered with grime, blood, and sweat. He held onto Tony’s neck as if it were his life support, his nails were digging far into it. Tony looked down at him with a panicked expression Peter had never seen on the man.
Peter opened his mouth to speak, nothing came out for a couple seconds, but Peter forced it. "I don't want to go, please,” he croaked out softly, tears rolling non-stop. “I don't want to go Mr.Stark. I'm sorry, Tony, I am sorry.”
The older man’s face crumpled as Peter’s speech finished. His father held him tighter as he body was being dusted.
“Dad—” was the last thing Peter could choke out before turning his head and letting the dust settle across his face.
Soon his tears disappeared, and the last thing he saw was his dads arms reaching out for the body no longer there.”
