    “You know, Eula,” Hu Tao said as she rested her chin on Yan Fei’s shoulder, her eyes overwhelmingly smug, “I’ve always known about your crush on Yan Fei.”

    Eula frowned, her mouth open in rebuke at a slight like that, but Hu Tao continued on with no care for the emotional maelstrom going through her head, “don’t you ever think about doing a little more than just… thinking about it?”

    In response, Yan Fei giggled - giggled! - and despite the dim lights of the sitting room they were in, Eula could see the pink blush dusting their cheeks. Whether it was from the generous alcohol that they had been consuming all evening or the embarrassment of the proposition they were making to Eula, it was hard to say.

    The only sure thing in this extremely unexpected situation, oddly enough, was that Eula had not misheard at all.

    Eula paused, a sure heat rising through her. “You’re not - you’re not both seriously suggesting it?"

    “Why not?” Yan Fei asked, a cheeky expression gracing her face, “why wouldn’t we want to show our good friend Eula a good time?”
