Jean looked over the snow barricade, only to immediately gape at that traveler, a hint of shock lingering on her raised eyebrows. Then, she laughs. Her laugh reverberates through the air, lifting everyone’s faces. Her smile reaches all the way up to her eyes, the creases making her face contort in joy. It’s been a long while since she’s laughed like this.
She’s happy. Truly happy.
