Summary
After the fall, some aspects of their life evolved, some resumed. There was definitely less lying, backstabbing and heart breaking going on. On the other hand, some dynamics just couldn’t be helped. That’s how, a few months after their recovery, Will and Hannibal realized that, nearly despite themselves, they had recreated their “conversations” where Will would explore his deepest thoughts under the interested yet professional eye of Dr Lecter.
The only difference was that now, Will’s entire life was composed with nothing but Hannibal Lecter. One could think it was a blatant case of conflict of interests, but Dr Lecter had never been one to follow protocols and ethics. He had always been above them, indubitably.
Though, when Will found himself in need to explore where he was at in regards to sexuality, his psychiatrist realized that it may take more from him than he thought to remain as unbothered as he professionally should.

He’s done it.
Hannibal for his part appears unperturbed. He blinks, inclines his head. An infinitesimal half smile is his only detectable reaction, his dark eyes remaining perfectly, irritatingly neutral. It creates the overall impression of near bored politeness.
At his core Will knows this is a painstakingly constructed mask.
It doesn't mean being greeted with it in the face of such weighted words has no effect.

Summary
Hannibal’s tongue flicks against the roof of his mouth behind his teeth. Will digs his fingers in harder, and his teeth come apart.
“I’m not your dog.”
Will rasps it, and Hannibal’s brows draw together, as if any feigned innocence could save him now.
Will’s jaw snaps shut, and a moment later, he spits down into Hannibal’s mouth, some of it splattering over his lips and up one cheek.
He sees his tongue twitch, his throat uselessly clicking as if trying to swallow from shock, and Will shakes his head with a quiet laugh.
