“Ah, come on, that was hours ago,” Hawks laughed.
Enji was unconvinced. There was something about the flush on his companion’s face, the unusual closeness, and the languid smoothness of his movements that made Enji think he was intoxicated.
“I can’t force you to do anything, but you should stay here,” he said firmly.
“Here? As in, here here?” Hawks tilted his head to the side with wide eyes.
