Marinette Dupain-Cheng's teenage life has been one surprise after another. Becoming a magical superheroine at age fifteen, on track to graduate top of her class in school despite all of her missed classes, and gaining her dream internship at Agreste Modeling (owned by her best friend Adrien's father, Gabriel) before she's even started University. Her life is beginning to feel like a fantasy, the one thing that's missing is her soulmate. Marinette has never given much thought to who her soulmate might be before, but when her friends all start receiving their soulmate marks and finding their forever partners, she starts to stress, believing she might not have a soulmate after all.
