Summary
Bilbo sat silently, deep in shock, far off in the distance. His wrists were covered in scars, bandages, and the thick sleeves he had pulled over them to hide the evidence. His mind was numb, his heart was broken, his existence felt worthless. Thorin hadn't come, even when he had been thought to be dying from Mountain Flu. He didn't want him, and the truth was just starting to sink in.
Bofur loves Bilbo like crazy, and would do anything for him. But he won't let Bilbo attempt suicide, and neither will Dwalin or Balin. Realising how much pain he has been in, enough is enough. Bilbo needs support, and a family, and someone to love him - whether that be a father or a lover. If Thorin won't look after Bilbo properly, then they sure as hell will.
Eventual Bofur x Bilbo. Mentions of Dwalin fathering Bilbo, and being soft with him. Mentions of Balin being like Bilbo's grandfather. Will expand on this as the fanfic goes on <3
