The thorns coil tighter and her heart thrums ever so loudly. Pure yearning pools in her eyes and takes presence in her body. Jimin leans forward as if moved by a hidden force, hands slithering near Minjeong's on the railing.
And If Jimin's rationality isn't clouded by the erratic beating of her heart and it's poison that's slithered into the neurons of her brain, constructing her perception of reality, then she can see Minejong's features softening and her body relaxing. Perhaps it's too immoderate to think of herself as the reason for such softening.
....Or Jimin and Minejong are foolishly in love and yearn tremendously for each others touch
