Summary
“Jackie,” Donna says again, with a sharper edge to her voice this time.
Jackie looks up from the grocery list, a faraway, glassy look in her eyes. “I’m pretty irregular with my period,” she says calmly, eerily. “I’m sure it’ll come any day now.”
Donna shakes her head, her stomach up in knots. “Jackie. I’ve had my period twice since we’ve been on the road.”
But Jackie only turns back to the list in her hands. “Any day now,” she whispers.
Donna gets abandoned, then dumped via letter. Jackie gets her entire future ripped from her hands. Suddenly, staying in Point Place seems pointless, and their rekindled friendship takes Donna and Jackie on an adventure in search of themselves. But sometimes, it’s not so easy to leave your past behind.

She had goals and boundless ideas for her future and as desperately as she wanted Steven to be a part of that future, she couldn’t let him string her along without any hope for their future.
And he didn’t, she wouldn’t let him, and he’d seemed pretty adamant that he thought that was for the best in the long run.
OR: It’s 1983 and Donna and Eric are getting married back in Point Place. Jackie comes home from Chicago and gets more than she bargained for when she sees Hyde again.

Disclaimer : This is rewriting of Season 8 of That 70s Show. All 22 episodes. This season is meant to right every wrong that were done to the show. It is meant to be wholesome and more mature even if staying close to the OG material.
Some romances might be slow burn some other will be more grounded. No endless "will they won't they" just to make us live in angst. This is about growth and every character is meant to discover themselves as a continuation to every other season.
It is a slight rewrite of the end of season 7 too just so it matches this rewrite of season 8. Also some things are fully invented on vibes I personally picked up over the years (this is purely subjective).
Finally, this is in no way an ode to any of the actors of the OG show, it is a goodbye to the characters I loved only.

It’s a well known fact that Buck is a good guy. Everyone knows that. Hell: the LAFD as a whole probably knows how good of a guy Buck is. He did save a dozen people during the tsunami while he was off duty while he was recovering and on blood thinners. A feat that the 118 hadn’t been aware of until one year after the tsunami, when one of the victims spoke up and named him as Firefighter Buck. The LAFD had recognized him for his bravery and Buck? He’d brushed it off like it was nothing.
So yeah, Buck’s a good guy. A great guy. But does he know how great he is? You would tell him and he would probably brush it off and tell you he’s just as good as everyone else.
The 118 know this, of course they do, but it all starts to come into clarity for them on a
stormy day when Buck shows up to work looking like a wet dog and one by one, they notice the little things that Buck does for them.Or: a 7+1 where the 118 realize just how GOOD Buck is. Comfort, no hurt.
