Jabber couldn't put a word to it. He confused Jabber with his actions and words, and treated him with such gentleness sometimes that it hurt. And not in a way that Jabber enjoyed. He could stand physical pain but this, the constant touches, the brushing of hands, the leaning into each other and eye contact that spoke more than words, it hurt in a way that was not enjoyable.
Not one bit, Jabber thought to himself unsurely.
Not at all...
Or Jabber is a little more honest with Zanka about why he won't let him go any further than just being their two-man fight club.

“Well,” she hummed, tapping a perfectly manicured nail against her chin. “That’s new.” She activated her choker, her voice dripping with syrupy delight:
“Zanka Nijiku to the front desk, please. You have a… personal delivery.”
In which, Zanka recieves quite a parcel from an unnamed individual containing homemade treats and... a ring?!

Mori was fucking with him, that was the only explanation. He was a Neutral and the bolded word "Little" underlined across the bottom of the sheet was either the stupidest mistake ever or the worst, most thought out prank Mori had ever attempted since the time he had switched out the cyanide pills Dazai had gotten ahold of with vitamins. The only thing even funnier than this stunt, was him having the audacity to say Chuuya would be his designated caregiver. Like he said, worst prank ever. Right?
