When a pair of heavy combat boots thump onto the asphalt in front of him, he’s almost certain it has to be an exhaustion-induced hallucination. Standing mere feet away from Katsuki is a mirror image of himself. Taller, older maybe, and different in many ways—but the same face, the same scowl, the same scars, the same sharp red eyes.
“What are you, a shitty cosplayer?” the knock-off Dynamight asks, voice huskier than his own.
It’s so bizarre that Katsuki has to shake his head in the hopes it’ll dispel the mirage. It doesn’t.
“Funny,” he replies with a deadly glower, holding the unconscious girl tighter in his arms, “I was about to ask you the damn same thing.”

Oh. That’s— “Was your rut okay?” Shouto blurts. Because he is a certified idiot, a veritable moron.
Bakugou blinks. Justifiably surprised, considering the omega he only sees once a month—a little more often, sometimes, when he can come up with an excuse—just asked him about something as intimate as a rut.
