Wreck’s tone is unwavering. “Turn around.”
“Wreck,” Nice scoffs around the name, his lips laced with a saccharine almost condescending. It’s a terrible sound coming from his boyfriend’s mouth. An attempt to make the villain feel small, like an inferior beast in the presence of a god.
Unfortunately, Wreck can’t give up so easily. “I said turn around.”
Nice is silent, an eerie stillness in the posture that holds his head over his shoulders. The tips of his fingers are shaking, a twitching silhouette to the setting sun, a small glimpse of life beyond an endless performance of conformity. Nice can’t speak, for the words would fail to rival the untamed fire in Wreck’s resolve— for any golden, sweetly-laced speeches have shrivelled on his tongue.
Unfortunately, even a beast can bite a god.
Or, what if Wreck found Nice on top of that building instead of Lin Ling?

Summary
He's slightly dizzy, he discovers, and that throws him off-balance for a second or two, much to his annoyance. The blurry image of Wreck in his vision clicks his tongue in disapproval. Nice rubs his eyes, which honestly makes things a little worse and him a little angrier.
“Your hands are covered in blood,” Wreck points out in the same monotone matter-of-fact way, “Your face is now, too.”
Wreck puts Nice back together, piece by piece.
