Summary
Exactly what the title says. There are what feels like a trillion books, and infinity more to come, and I will definitely lose my passion for this, and this is my first work, but...
*never tell me the odds*
The characters will be from Legacy right before the battle. All the ships will be canon-if a ship sails or will sail in the books, it sails in this fic.
Everything is from Shannon Messenger except the plot; I own nothing but it and my useless life. -

Summary
The story of La Familia Madrigal and our village is nothing more than stories and one horrific, frightening truth. The stories have been passed down for decades through whispers in forest shadows, chatter by fishermen on the banks of the Rio Milagro, exaggerated retellings in the firelight meant to impress or intimidate, and warnings to children by candlelit bedsides. They have been washed down the river and blown by the winter wind and sown in the earth and scorched by our hearths until they hold no remnants of truth that we can be certain of, if they ever did. But they have survived, and perhaps for that reason it is important to tell them, even if they are nothing more than the start of a fairy tale.
