Summary
James writes to-do lists. It's something he's always done. Over the years, as struggles grow, the lists get longer and more convoluted. Sometimes it feels like he's spiralling, writing stuff that he can’t do, or won’t ever do. He continues writing them anyway, it’s the only way for him to have any control over his life.
I hate writing summaries: TLDR James writes to-do lists, and it gets sad.
This idea literally came to me in a dream. I read this fic in a dream and was devastated when I woke up and couldn’t read it again, so now I’m writing it… I listened to the voices, are you proud of me? Still deciding if this will be mostly canon compliant or not… Jegulus will happen don’t worry, but for the rest of the plot…
